– Enoteca Fontana: Good laid back wine bar – and cheap. Try a Lambrusco sparkling red and/or Friuli Cabernet
– Ristorante Gallo d’Oro: Excellent taste of Emilia Romagna. See prior post for details
– Of course Sorrelle Pichi is always good.
Next time try:
– Parma Rotta
– City food market at Piazza Ghiaia near Palazzo Della Pilotta
– Pizzeria La Duchessa in Piazza Garibaldi

A variety of resaurants and winde bars in Roma. We went to the wine bar on Via Della Frezza near Del Corso and Piazza Popolo in 2008. Excellent but we did not have much time. We plan to go back in the future when we time to try the great looking appetizer buffet.
