Our favorite Restaurant in Sorrento.
Very good food, good prices. Everything is great, very reasonable. Pizza, Spaghetti alla Cozzi (Mussels), Spaghetti with Clams, Gnocchi (potato dumplings) ala Sorrentina, Eggplant Parmesean, Veal, Prosciutto with Mozzarella, etc., etc. – We usually eat here a lot when we are in Sorrento.

Take the second steet from the right as you face the Torre de Mangia-dead ends in the Piazza del Mercato. Closed Monday. Went 5/24/02 – Very Good. House wine good (Chianti), Pappardelle with wild boar sauce excellent. Servers very nice. Prices very good (39 Euro ? for 2) Wild Boar very good – sauce excellent – order with patatene fritta (fries). No reservations needed. Try other grilled items and spaghetti pomodoro next time.
5/25/02: Went back! They do have a wine list – you must ask for it. Ribolitta (bread stew) was delicious – also, pork ribs (big pile) & Chicken Cacciatore. Plan to wait a while for your check (il conto) especially if they’re busy.

Across Ponte Vecchio to San Jacopo. Restaurant almost at end as right. Food was great – Wine was Excellent! Sangiovese Toscana 1995, and Brunnello de Mantalcino Madonna Del Piano 1990. Must have Fragolini (baby strawberries) can Parto (Port Wine).
