Recommended by a firend who was in Venice in 2008. The Casa Rezzonico is on a canal in the Accademia/Dorsoduro area (my favorite area in Venice). It has a nice grass courtyard for Breakfast and quiet contemplation.

Neat Restaurant in the Campo San Barnaba in the Dorsoduro/Accademia area of Venezia. The church in this neat little piazza was used for the library in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. There are several interesting looking restaurants near this piazza that we need to try in the future.

Murano: Home of Venetian glass. Worth the trip – you can see the glass blowers at work.
Burano: Went 5/2002. Neat little fishing village – great picture taking – not much else – just lazt, quite town. Lace making museum (closed Tues.) Take Vaparetto #12 from Fondamenti Novo Area.
Have a bottle of wine – Antinori Chianti Classico at Hotel Monaco facing the Grand Canal
